The Beautiful Rosefinch is a colorful finch of high-altitude shrublands and alpine meadows across the Himalayas and Central Asian ranges. Males are brilliant crimson-pink on the head and breast with streaked brown wings, while females are streaked brown. It feeds on seeds and buds, descending to lower altitudes during harsh winter months.
