Black Cuckooshrike
The Black Cuckooshrike is a medium-sized, slender bird of sub-Saharan African woodlands and forests, with males displaying entirely glossy black plumage and a small yellow gape wattle. It ranges across tropical Africa from Senegal east to Ethiopia and south to South Africa, inhabiting open woodland, savanna, and forest edges. It feeds on caterpillars and other large insects, foraging in the canopy and mid-story.
