The Black-crested Bulbul is a lively, medium-sized bulbul of South and Southeast Asian forests, with a glossy black crest, olive-green upperparts, and yellow underparts. It ranges from northeastern India through southern China, Myanmar, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, and into the Greater Sunda Islands, inhabiting the canopy and edges of primary and secondary forests. It feeds on fruits, berries, and insects.
