Donacobiidae

Black-capped Donacobius; a monotypic family containing only the Black-capped Donacobius of tropical South America. Bold black-and-white patterned bird found in reedbeds and marshy vegetation. Long-thought related to wrens or mockingbirds; molecular data reveals it as a distinct isolated lineage.
