The Baliem Whistler is a passerine found in the highland forests of the Baliem Valley in New Guinea, belonging to the family Pachycephalidae. It inhabits montane forest and forest edges in its restricted range. Like other whistlers it is known for its powerful, melodious song and forages for insects and small invertebrates.

Biak Whistler

The Biak Whistler is a whistler endemic to Biak and Numfoor islands in West Papua, Indonesia. It has the robust build and strong bill typical of whistlers in the Pachycephala genus. It inhabits forest canopy and edges, feeding on large insects and small vertebrates, and produces loud, melodious whistling calls.
