About These Birds
Enggano Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.

Coroneted Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus coronulatus), 20 cm. Grey head with an orange crown spot; green back and wings; yellow-orange belly. Found in lowland and foothill forest of New Guinea. Frugivore. Least Concern; common across its New Guinea range in suitable forest habitats.
