Black-naped Monarch
The Black-naped Monarch is a slender, elegant flycatcher; males are brilliant pale blue with a small black nape patch and black throat markings, while females are brownish. It inhabits lowland and foothill forests, secondary growth, and gardens from India and Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia to the Philippines and Indonesia. It actively flycatches insects in the forest midstory and edges.
