Arfak Robin

The Arfak Robin is a medium-sized petroicid from the Arfak Mountains of western New Guinea, weighing about 33 grams with a wingspan near 18 cm. It inhabits dense montane forest understory, foraging for insects on or near the ground in characteristic robin fashion. Its white wing patches are a distinctive feature used in identification.
