Tiny dove, 19–21 cm, pale blue-grey with fine white spots on the wings and a red eye-ring on bare orbital skin. Endemic to arid and semi-arid Australia, inhabiting open spinifex and mulga country near water. Granivore of tiny seeds. Highly popular as a cage bird worldwide. Least Concern.
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
