Black-and-yellow Grosbeak
The Black-and-yellow Grosbeak is a large, robust finch of montane conifer forests in the western Himalayas from Afghanistan to Nepal. Males are brilliant yellow below with black upperparts and a massive yellow bill adapted for cracking seeds. It feeds on pine seeds, buds, berries, and insects, often in small flocks.
