Stock Dove (Columba oenas) — 32–34 cm. Blue-grey; two short incomplete black wing bars; green iridescent neck patch; no white; pinkish breast. Breeds across Europe and western Asia in farmland, woodland, and cliffs; partially migratory. Granivore feeding on weed seeds and grain. Nests in tree holes and rock crevices.

Adamawa Turtle-dove

Medium dove, 27–30 cm, with warm rufous-brown upperparts, a black neck collar, and a deep orange-red breast. Endemic to the highland plateaus and montane grasslands of northern Nigeria and Cameroon. Granivore of grass seeds and cultivated grains. Poorly studied and localised range. Least Concern.
