The Ashy-throated Chlorospingus is a small tanager-like bird found in montane forests of Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. Weighing about 17.75g with a wingspan near 13.8cm, it has a distinctive ash-grey throat contrasting with olive upperparts. It forages in mixed-species flocks through the cloud forest canopy.
