The Ashy-fronted Babbler is a Vulnerable babbler endemic to Sri Lanka, inhabiting scrub jungle and forest edges in the lowlands. Weighing about 70g, it has a distinctive ashy-grey forehead and is typically found in noisy social groups. Habitat loss and fragmentation pose major threats to this island endemic.
