Anna's Hummingbird

Anna's hummingbird is the most common hummingbird along the Pacific coast and one of only three species resident in the United States year-round. Their body temperature can drop to near ambient at night to conserve energy.

Bahama Hummingbird

A small hummingbird (9-10 cm) endemic to the Bahamas. Green plumage with a rose-pink gorget (males) and forked tail. Nectarivore of scrub and garden flowers across the archipelago. The most common hummingbird in the Bahamas.
