The Arabian Golden Sparrow is a small finch-billed sparrow from the Horn of Africa and southern Arabian Peninsula, weighing about 14.5 grams with a wingspan near 12 cm. Males are strikingly yellow-green, making them among the most colorful sparrows in the world. They inhabit dry acacia scrubland and semi-arid savanna, feeding on seeds and small insects.
