The Atlas Flycatcher is a small Old World flycatcher breeding in the Atlas Mountains of northwest Africa. Weighing about 12.6g, the male shows bold black-and-white plumage typical of the pied flycatcher group. It inhabits mountain woodlands and olive groves, catching insects on short aerial sallies from exposed perches.
