Gould's Sunbird

Gould's Sunbird (<em>Aethopyga gouldiae</em>) is a small nectarivorous bird belonging to the family Nectariniidae (Sunbirds). It inhabits forest environments, typically in montane and subtropical zones across its range in South and Southeast Asia. Detailed plumage and behavioral descriptions of this species are limited in the available literature. Gould's Sunbird constructs a spherical nest (nest type SP), an enclosed ball-shaped structure with a side entrance typical of some sunbird species. Clutch size ranges from 2 to 3 eggs.
