African flycatchers (red-tailed); 3 species of small flycatchers endemic to sub-Saharan African forests, notable for their brightly colored rufous tails that are constantly cocked and fanned. Inhabit mid-story of humid forest, and forest edges. Active, restless behavior. Previously placed in Stenostiridae.
