The rock pigeon is the ancestor of all domestic pigeon breeds and one of the most abundant birds in cities worldwide. Small-medium green-pigeon, 25–28 cm; male has a cinnamon-rufous head and neck contrasting with yellow-green body and grey wings; female is plain green. Inhabits lowland and foothill forest, forest edge, and mangroves in Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, and Borneo. Frugivore of figs and berries in the forest canopy. Least Concern.
