The Banasura Chilappan is an Endangered passerine restricted to the Western Ghats of southern India, belonging to the family Leiothrichidae. Weighing about 43.8g with a wingspan of 16.2cm, it inhabits dense subtropical forest understory. Its extremely limited range and forest dependence make it highly vulnerable to habitat loss.

Arrow-marked Babbler

The Arrow-marked Babbler is a social African bird found in savanna woodlands and thornbush across sub-Saharan Africa. Weighing around 74g with a wingspan near 20.5cm, it travels in noisy groups and is identified by white arrow-shaped streaks on its brown plumage. It feeds on insects, fruit, and small vertebrates.
