Black-billed Barbet
The Black-billed Barbet is a small, colorful barbet of sub-Saharan East Africa, with a boldly patterned red, black, and yellow head and a stout dark bill. It inhabits woodland edges, gardens, and savanna with fruiting trees from Ethiopia south to Tanzania. Like other barbets, it excavates nest cavities in tree trunks and feeds on fruits, berries, and insects.
