The Altamira Oriole is a striking icterid weighing around 55 g with a 23.3 cm wingspan, native to lowland scrub and riparian woodlands of northeastern Mexico and southern Texas. Its brilliant orange-and-black plumage and loud, melodious song make it conspicuous in its habitat.
Bar-winged Oriole
The Bar-winged Oriole is a colorful oriole of the family Icteridae found in highland pine-oak forests of Guatemala and El Salvador. Weighing about 45g with a wingspan of 19.2cm, the male has black-and-yellow plumage with distinctive white wing-bars. It inhabits montane forest canopy where it feeds on insects, nectar, and fruit.
