Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.

Orange-bellied Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus iozonus), 22 cm. Green with a vivid orange belly and a grey head; found in lowland forests of New Guinea and the Aru Islands. Frugivore feeding on small figs and forest berries in the mid-canopy. Least Concern; widespread and common in New Guinea.
