Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.

Medium pigeon, 28–31 cm, pale brownish-grey with a white or very pale vent and undertail-coverts contrasting with the body. Widespread in tropical South America from Mexico to Bolivia and central Brazil, favouring forest edges, riverine gallery forest, and savanna woodland. Frugivore of small fruits and seeds.
