Seram Mountain-pigeon (Gymnophaps stalkeri), 35 cm. Similar to Buru Mountain-pigeon; dark grey with rufous-chestnut underparts. Endemic to Seram Island, Maluku, Indonesia. Inhabits montane forest above 900 m. Frugivore. Vulnerable; island endemic dependent on intact highland forest.
Peruvian Pigeon
Medium pigeon, 28–32 cm, vinaceous-grey with a pale greyish head and dark reddish-brown bare orbital skin. Endemic to the dry inter-Andean valleys and slopes of Peru and extreme northern Chile. Favours dry scrub, cactus, and thorn forest. Frugivore and granivore. Least Concern but restricted range.
