Bare-necked Fruitcrow
The Bare-necked Fruitcrow is a large cotinga of the family Cotingidae found in the lowland forests and forest edges of the Amazon basin. Weighing about 303.3g with a wingspan of 40.3cm, the male displays a striking bare bluish-gray neck patch. It feeds primarily on fruit and moves through the forest canopy in small groups.
Andean Cock-of-the-rock
The Andean Cock-of-the-rock is a spectacular cotingid with a 36.7 cm wingspan, weighing 245 grams. Males are brilliant orange-red with a large semicircular crest covering the bill, while females are brownish. It inhabits Andean cloud forests and rocky outcrops, where males gather at leks to display.
