The Bananal Antbird is a Near Threatened antbird found in gallery forest and riverine vegetation on Ilha do Bananal and adjacent areas in central Brazil, weighing about 15g with a wingspan of 13.7cm. It forages in pairs or small groups through dense undergrowth for insects and other arthropods. Its restricted range and dependence on riverine forest make it vulnerable to habitat loss.
Bicolored Antvireo
The Bicolored Antvireo is a near-threatened small antbird restricted to foothill and lower montane forests of northwestern Ecuador and the southwest slope of Colombia. Males are grey and white and females are brown with buffy streaking. It forages in pairs in the forest midstory for insects gleaned from leaves and branches.
