The Black-headed Heron is a large, stately heron with a black crown and hindneck, gray body plumage, and a contrasting white throat and foreneck. The Réunion Night-Heron (Nycticorax duboisi) is an extinct species of night-heron belonging to the family Ardeidae, formerly endemic to the island of Réunion in the southwestern Indian Ocean.
