Barbary Partridge
Blue-grey upperparts; chestnut-spotted white flank bars; grey crown; rufous-brown collar with white spots; reddish-orange bill and legs; white face. Closely resembles Red-legged Partridge but collar spotted.

Male with deep cinnamon-chestnut back; iridescent blue-black breast and belly; white-streaked flanks; blue crest; cobalt-blue and red facial wattle. Female reddish-brown with white-tipped tail and blue orbital ring.

Bornean Crested Fireback
A large Phasianidae pheasant (~1.77 kg) endemic to the lowland forests of Borneo. Males are deep chestnut-orange with an erect black-and-blue crest and blue facial wattles. Inhabits primary and tall secondary forest. Omnivorous ground forager. Vulnerable from rampant deforestation and hunting in Borneo.
