Black-breasted Weaver

The Black-breasted Weaver is a colonial nesting weaver bird of South Asian grasslands and reed beds, with breeding males showing a chestnut crown, dark brown breast patch, and streaked yellow and brown upperparts. It ranges across the Indian subcontinent from Pakistan east to Bangladesh, inhabiting tall grasslands, cultivation, and marshes. It feeds on seeds and insects, nesting in large colonies in reed beds or tall grass.

African Golden Weaver

The African Golden Weaver weighs about 31g and inhabits coastal East Africa. Males are vivid yellow with orange-washed heads and weave intricate hanging nests over water during breeding season.
