About These Birds
Olrog's Gull
Olrog's Gull, 55–58 cm, is an Endangered South American gull breeding in small colonies in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Very similar to Belcher's Gull. Piscivore; entirely dependent on mudflats and estuaries of the Buenos Aires coast. Threatened by industrial development of breeding and foraging sites.
Heermann's Gull

Breeds almost entirely on Isla Rasa in the Gulf of California, then disperses north along the Pacific coast to British Columbia. Kleptoparasite; steals fish from Brown Pelicans. Near Threatened; range highly restricted.
