The Biak Triller is a near-threatened triller endemic to Biak Island in the Cenderawasih Bay, West Papua. It has black and white patterned plumage typical of trillers in the Lalage genus. It forages in the forest canopy for insects, often joining mixed-species foraging flocks.
Ashy Minivet
The Ashy Minivet is a sleek passerine that breeds in East Asia and winters across South and Southeast Asia. Weighing about 23g with a wingspan near 19cm, the male is pale grey and white while the female has yellow-tinged plumage. It forages in the forest canopy, catching insects on the wing.
