The Black-capped Vireo is a Near Threatened small vireo of Texas and Oklahoma in the United States, wintering on Mexico's Pacific coast, with males displaying a striking black cap, white spectacles, and olive-green and white plumage. It inhabits dense, shrubby oak and juniper thickets in rocky terrain.
