Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.

Grey-green Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus purpuratus), 22 cm. Mostly dull grey-green with a lavender-grey head and white orbital ring; endemic to the Society Islands and Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia. Inhabits coastal to montane forest. Frugivore. Least Concern; common on larger islands.
