Barred Honeyeater

The Barred Honeyeater is a small honeyeater of the family Meliphagidae endemic to New Caledonia, found in forests and scrub across the island. Weighing about 16g with a wingspan of 17.4cm, it has finely barred brown-and-white plumage. It feeds on nectar and small insects, moving through forest canopy and scrub vegetation.
