Blackish Cicadabird

The Blackish Cicadabird is a medium-sized cicadabird with predominantly dark blackish-gray plumage showing a slight bluish gloss in the male. It inhabits lowland and foothill forests of Sulawesi, the Moluccas, and adjacent Indonesian islands. It feeds on insects gleaned from forest foliage and small fruits, often joining mixed-species foraging flocks.

Ashy Minivet

The Ashy Minivet is a sleek passerine that breeds in East Asia and winters across South and Southeast Asia. Weighing about 23g with a wingspan near 19cm, the male is pale grey and white while the female has yellow-tinged plumage. It forages in the forest canopy, catching insects on the wing.
