About These Birds

Bioko Speirops

The Bioko Speirops is a vulnerable white-eye endemic to the montane forests of Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea. It has brown-olive plumage without the typical white eye-ring of most white-eyes. It forages in forest canopy for insects, nectar, and berries, and is threatened by habitat loss and its very restricted island range.
