About These Birds
Black-headed Tailorbird
The Black-headed Tailorbird is a small, active warbler with a distinctive black crown, olive-green upperparts, and pale underparts, distinguished from most tailorbirds by its striking dark head. It is endemic to the Philippines, inhabiting the undergrowth and edges of lowland and foothill forests on several islands. Like other tailorbirds, it stitches large leaves together with plant fibers to create a cup-shaped nest.
