Torda-preta (Cepphus carbo), 33–38 cm. Plumagem preta com pequena área branca no espelho alar. Bico fino e pontudo, pernas vermelhas. Habita costas rochosas e baías do Pacífico Norte, especialmente no leste da Ásia. Mergulha para capturar peixes, crustáceos e invertebrados marinhos.
