Silver-capped Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus richardsii), 23 cm. Silver-white cap on a green body with a yellow breast; endemic to the Rennell and Santa Cruz Islands, Solomon Islands. Inhabits primary lowland forest. Frugivore. Near Threatened; small range with ongoing deforestation pressure.

Adamawa Turtle-dove

Medium dove, 27–30 cm, with warm rufous-brown upperparts, a black neck collar, and a deep orange-red breast. Endemic to the highland plateaus and montane grasslands of northern Nigeria and Cameroon. Granivore of grass seeds and cultivated grains. Poorly studied and localised range. Least Concern.
