The Bar-winged Weaver is a small weaver of the family Ploceidae found in montane forest edges and secondary growth in Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Uganda. Weighing about 26.6g with a wingspan of 16cm, it has yellow plumage with distinctive dark wing-bars. It builds woven nests and forages in flocks for seeds and insects.
