Shining Imperial-pigeon (Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. Richly iridescent bronze-green upperparts with a contrasting pale grey head and underparts. Found in montane forest of New Guinea from 700 to 2,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in hill and montane forest.

Seram Imperial-pigeon (Ducula neglecta), 42 cm. Metallic green above; grey head and pale underparts. Endemic to Seram and Ambon, Maluku, Indonesia. Inhabits primary and secondary forest up to 1,800 m. Frugivore. Near Threatened; declining with habitat loss on Seram.
