The Black-billed Peppershrike is a stocky, large-headed vireo relative of Andean foothills in Colombia and Ecuador, distinguished from similar peppershrikes by its entirely dark bill. It inhabits the canopy and edges of humid montane forests and adjacent tall secondary growth.
