Mutum-de-fita (Crax fasciolata) — Mutum de médio porte da América do Sul central, do Brasil ao Paraguai e Bolívia. Macho negro com cera amarela; fêmea barrada acastanhada. Habita florestas semidecíduas e cerradão. Caçado intensivamente. Menos ameaçado do que outros mutuns graças a ocorrer parcialmente no Pantanal e cerrado mais acessíveis.

Inhabits humid tropical forests, forest edges, and scrublands from Honduras south to northwestern Colombia. Forages in groups for fruits, berries, leaves, and insects in the understory and canopy.
