Coua-de-Reynaud (Coua reynaudii) — Coua das florestas úmidas do leste de Madagascar. Plumagem com tons de verde e castanho com marcas faciais. Habita o interior de florestas primárias. Alimenta-se de insetos, lagartos e frutos. Como outros couas, é não parasitário. Em declínio acentuado por intensa desflorestação do leste de Madagascar.

Lesser Roadrunner (Geococcyx velox) — 46–52 cm. Similar to Greater Roadrunner but smaller with a more streaked breast. Found in dry scrub, open woodland, and arid valleys from Mexico to Nicaragua. Non-parasitic; carnivorous; eats insects and small vertebrates. Shares the same terrestrial running lifestyle as its northern relative.
