The Azure Dollarbird is a Near Threatened roller found in the North Maluku Islands of Indonesia, weighing about 122.8g with a wingspan of 38cm. It inhabits forest edges and open woodland, and like other dollarbirds catches insects on the wing with powerful aerial pursuits. Its striking azure-blue plumage makes it one of the most colorful rollers in its range.
