Greater White-fronted Goose
O ganso-de-testa-branca é um ganso cinzento médio com uma característica faixa branca na frente da cabeça e barras pretas irregulares no ventre. Tem distribuição circumolar na tundra ártica onde cria, hibernando mais ao sul. As duas subespécies principais diferem no tamanho do bico e hibernam em diferentes regiões. Alimenta-se de plantas de tundra durante a criação e de pasto e culturas nas suas áreas de hibernada. É uma espécie cinegética amplamente caçada.

O ganso-de-cabeça-ruiva é o menor e mais raro dos gansos-da-patagónia, encontrado em prados úmidos da Terra do Fogo e nas Ilhas Malvinas. Tem cabeça e pescoço castanho-avermelhados característica que contrastam com o corpo barrado. As populações sofreram declínios severos, principalmente devido à predação introduzida de raposas e colonização de raposas nas Malvinas. É classificado como vulnerável com esforços de conservação focados na gestão de predadores.
