Gaivina-de-faces-brancas (Chlidonias hybrida), 23–28 cm. Plumagem cinzenta com face branca contrastante, coroa e nuca pretas, bico vermelho-escuro. Habita lagos, estuários e pântanos na Europa, Ásia e África. Migratória. Alimenta-se de insetos, pequenos peixes e anfíbios capturados na superfície da água.
