Borrelho-de-Santa-Helena (Charadrius sanctaehelenae), 15–17 cm. Colar peitoral castanho-negricel, fronte branca, partes superiores acastanhadas, bico escuro. Endêmico da Ilha de Santa Helena no Atlântico Sul. Em perigo crítico de extinção. Habita pastagens e áreas abertas da ilha. Alimenta-se de invertebrados.

Common resident throughout the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia in open country, farmland, and urban parks. Loud penetrating alarm call. Insectivorous. Highly sedentary; aggressive nest defender.
