Borrelho-pálido (Charadrius pallidus), 17–19 cm. Colar peitoral castanho-ruivo incompleto, partes superiores castanho-arenosas pálidas, partes inferiores brancas. Habita planícies áridas, salinas e margens de lagos no sul da África. Alimenta-se de insetos e outros invertebrados no solo.
